Summit Biking's primary mission is to enhance recreational bicycling opportunities in Summit County by serving as a 501c3 fundraising resource to provide financial support for projects that improve the Summit County Recreational Pathway System and other Summit County road cycling infrastructure. A sampling of recent projects Summit Biking has been instrumental in helping bring to fruition through financial support and/or advocacy are shown on our Projects Page.

Funding for past projects has come primarily from proceeds generated by the annual Bob Guthrie Memorial Ride, which has run it's course and is no longer being held.

​

Given that our minimal annual dues barely cover our basic Monday ride insurance and other very basic club expenses, we are at the point where tax deductible donations from individuals and other entities will be necessary if Summit Biking is to continue being sought out as a voice for road cycling in Summit County and provider of local seed funding for selected capital projects.
